DESCRIPTION:FIT4MOM and Functional Roots team up to bring Moms a morning full of movement and spring inspired fun with the whole family (Dads are also welcome with the kids). \nBegin the morning with a FIT4MOM Stroller Strides workout with Erica. Following your workout\, join Jamie\, Occupational Therapist from Functional Roots with an interactive spring inspired story time\, search for signs of the season in the woods\, navigate an animal track scavenger hunt nature walk\, and engage in hands-on nature sensory play and art. \nThis event invites families with children of all ages. This playful and enriching experience supports parent and child wellness\, child development\, and encourages us to foster a love for movement outdoors as a community. \nREGISTRATION REQUIRED \nAn email will be provided prior to the event with additional details and exact meeting location. Event will be held rain or shine. DESCRIPTION:Join us for family friendly nature-based sensory play group inspired by the sights and sounds of springtime birds! \nLed by Pediatric Occupational Therapist\, Cheri\, this outdoor program invites children and families to slow down\, explore\, and connect with nature through hands-on activities designed to engage the senses. \nThe morning will include a spring-themed active story time\, mindfulness activities\, and playful opportunities to move\, build\, listen\, and create–just like our feathered friends. \nLet’s turn the focus to connection\, curiosity\, and joy–come nest and nurture with us this spring! \n*Event is open to children of all ages with a caregiver but activities are mostly geared toward ages 8 years and under. Please note: caregivers must be able to navigate uneven terrain and fully supervise their child for the duration of the event. Carriers or sturdy jogging strollers are encouraged for children not yet walking. \nAdditional details of the event will be provided the day prior to the event via email.
